Hold privacy policy

Hold has no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and on its own it sends nothing anywhere. Your sessions, reflections, notes and settings stay on this phone, unless you export them or they go with an iPhone backup.

If you buy the full version, Apple handles the payment. Hold learns only that the full version is yours.

If you send feedback, Michal Gajdos, who makes Hold, receives your email address, what you write, the build, iOS version and phone model, and Hold’s log of problems from the last 30 days, when there is one. Your sessions, notes and scores are never included, and Mail shows you everything before you send it.

Feedback is used only to reply and to fix problems, a legitimate interest under the GDPR. The mailbox is hosted in a country the EU recognises as protecting personal data to its own standard. Emails are deleted within a year after the conversation ends.

To see, correct or delete your emails, to object to their use, or to ask anything, write to hold@scarceclues.com. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes to this policy appear here and at scarceclues.com/hold/privacy.
